Most recently they created a customized backdrop to help celebrate actor, singer and songwriter Trevor Jackson’s 25th birthday bash, which was hosted by Empire Events and sponsored by Bornart and Despacio Mezcal.
Born Trevor Howard Lawrence Jackson on August 30, 1996 in Indianapolis, Indiana, Jackson is best known for portraying Aaron Jackson on the Freeform original series, ‘Grown-ish’. Though his family held a prominent interest in basketball, the driven star knew at a very early age that his heart belonged to the entertainment industry. After performing for several venues in his hometown, he won the role of Young Simba on the national tour of ‘The Lion King’ in 2004 at the age of 8…and the rest is history!
Jackson’s birthday backdrop, designed by the creatives at Step and Repeat LA, measured 8’ tall and 8’ wide, an ideal size for a private gathering. The backdrop was created using a matte-finished fabric, and featured an all-black background with hot pink text and logos.
With the global Pandemic keeping people away from public venues and mostly confined within their homes with close loved ones this past year, birthday party backdrops have become increasingly popular as a means to make an ordinary party feel extra special and fancy.
Recently, Step and Repeat LA created a 50th birthday party backdrop that adorably featured the text: ‘Vintage 1971: Aged to Perfection!’, and was used as a photo-op at an outdoor family birthday party. The client loved their backdrop, and exclaimed, “It was perfect!”
In December 2020, Step and Repeat LA had the honor of creating another birthday backdrop for a private party held for pop superstar, Britney Spears, at her home here in Southern California.
