(Entertainment-NewsWire.com, March 09, 2016 ) Hollywood, CA -- Galaxy Press is hitting the convention beat again. This time, it's off to Silicon Valley Comic Con on March 18-20, 2016 at the San Jose Convention Center where they will have the L. Ron Hubbard fiction collection available along with giveaways. Fans will also be able to get their photos taken with costumed characters from Hubbard's bestselling novel Battlefield Earth. The convention will also see the likes of William Shatner, Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Jeremy Renner, Stan Lee, Andy Weir and others. The convention is put on by Steve Wozniak.

Battlefield Earth will be featured at the convention, not only because it is a top seller, but it is releasing on Father's Day 2016 as a commemorative edition with never-before-published author handwritten notes. It releases concurrent with an unabridged state-of-the-art multicast audiobook with over 65 actors, 47 1/2 hours in length,198 different characters with a soundscape of 150,000 sound effects and over 3 hours of original music. Galaxy said they will have free chapter books to hand in Silicon Valley.
Fans will also see the art of Frank Frazetta, Man the Endangered Species, at 8 feet tall on Galaxy's backdrop. Frazetta was commissioned in the early 1980s to create the cover art for Battlefield Earth, which will soon grace the covers of the new editions being put out by Galaxy Press.
