(Entertainment-NewsWire.com, July 11, 2013 ) Green Bay, WI -- Last year held one of the more infamous moments in Packer's history. It is know as the Seattle Screwjob, Fail Mary, and so forth. Now a picture has surfaced with Golden Tate and replacement ref Lance Easily together, that is sure to rebuild the ire, and add a little levity to the moment.
The picture is sure to have some up in arms again, as the sting has not yet fully left the incident. The Packers would have, all else unchanged during the season, 12-4 and thus hosting the 11-4-1 49ers in the playoffs. It is possible to assume Kaepernick and the 9ers would not have been so potent in single-digit temperatures.
The new picture has Lance Easley, the replacement ref who made the call, enjoying a bit of celebration in Seattle. He posed for a picture with a smiling Tate as Easley signaled a touchdown. The picture was at a celebrity softball game, which Easley was jumping.
Lawyer Milloy was the one who took the picture and posted it to his Instagram. It is not eh first time Easley has been found mugging for the camera with Seahawks players and fans. One can assume he is making the best of a sticky situation that made him the pariah of the midwest.
While Green Bay territory surely considers it one of the worst calls of all time, the referee is certainly considered someone wonderful in the upper pacific side of the nation.
It should be noted that Easley is also coming out with a book titled “Making the Call.” All of it is sure to add to the fury of many Green Bay fans who are not quick to forget, while in total it is all rather silly. Green Bay will be sure to work hard to make sure the new season helps erase the concerns of what could have been last season.
