Sales Expert Blames Slow Economy On Antiquated Sales Training

However, a new opinion has been rendered, and it's from the sales training world. Frank says the solution is to either modify or replace the current sales training in place at most corporations -- training that depends heavily on cold calling to generate new sales prospects -- with modern training that teaches salespeople how to use technology, and business social media sites like LinkedIn, to generate leads on autopilot.



Rumbauskas cites the average 97-99% failure rate of cold calling, combined with the huge time burden of cold calling, as the reason sales are not being made, and the economy continues to struggle.
