(Entertainment-NewsWire.com, January 02, 2014 ) Beaverton, OR -- Zanshin Marketing today announced that the very popular Auphonix Pop Filter for microphones should be back in stock for the beginning of 2014. The shipment arrived in the USA in early December, but because of the Christmas rush, and very bad weather in parts of the country in December, delivery to Amazon warehouses was delayed.
"We are delighted to inform our customers that we have a scheduled date of delivery at Amazon of the 31st December, which should mean that the product is once again available from the first week of January. This delay in delivery was entirely unexpected, and we apologize to any customers who have been inconvenienced."
There may be minor delays early in the month, as Amazon usually likes to ship the inventory to multiple warehouses across the USA, to allow customers to get the fastest possible delivery times. However it is expected that there will be some inventory immediately available to get the pre-ordered filters out to customers in the coming week.
One recent reviewer "Snvffy" had this to say about their new pop filter "Received quickly and it just looks and feels like quality. I really feel good about the double mesh screen protecting my microphone. One thing I noticed is that the flexible neck seems very long so it should fit just about any setup.".
What is a pop filter?
A pop filter is a simple product that can make a huge difference to the quality of audio recordings. It simply acts as a barrier between the vocalists mouth and the microphone which allows the sound to get through, but without the sharp bursts of air caused by "plosives". Plosives are the consonants which are pronounced with a fast exhalation of air, such as the letters "p" and "b".
Pop filters can also reduce the impact of sibilance, which is the hissing noise sometimes heard when the letter "s" is said into a microphone.
