Chef Caron Announces An Amazon Product Release - BBQ Grill Mats

Introducing Chef Caron BBQ Grill Mats

(Entertainment-NewsWire.com, July 29, 2014 ) Kalispell, MT -- Chef Caron (a DBA under Rhotus LLC), a new company formed by brothers Don and David Caron, has announced the availability of their Non-stick BBQ Grill Mats on Amazon.com. The Amazon Sales Page for the mats was activated earlier this week, and offers a competitive price on the Caron brothers' newly redesigned mats, along with a free instructional ebook on the proper uses and applications of the mats. According to Caron, the brothers manufactured their new version of the non-stick grill mats in order to provide additional features that have not been previously available, and to make the grill mats usable in commercial situations.

Non-stick grill mats are constructed by coating fiberglass cloth with layers of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). The mats can be placed on the grates of a BBQ to enable grilling of food items that normally would be too difficult to manage on the grill, because they stick to or fall through the grates in the cooking process. They are widely popular as a way to protect barbecue grills and for their ease of use and cleanup.

David Caron, a chef who lives and works in the Flathead Valley of Montana, wanted to create a barbecue grill mat that was suitable for professional applications and not just the recreational uses typical of grill mats in the past. The Caron brothers redesigned the mats to solve what they saw as the problems and shortcomings that were inherent in non-stick grill mats.

They added additional layers of the PTFE non-stick coating to their mats, which according to Chef David Caron, eliminated a tendency of the mats to fray on the edges over time. It also significantly increased the non-stick characteristics of the grill mats, making them easier to work with and even easier to clean, says Caron.

The Chef Caron mats come in a larger size than other mats currently available on the market - 13 by 17 inches - and are thicker as well, at a depth of two mil. According to Caron, these features greatly improve the durability and lifespan of the product.

Dave Caron comments, "We set out to create a grill mat that was not just for the backyard barbecue enthusiast, but that would work for cooks and chefs in commercial applications as well. What with all the marketing hype on the web surrounding grill mats, we had a goal to set the record straight on the factual advantages and limitations of BBQ grill mats. So we also created an ebook that we provide free to all of our Amazon customers."

The short ebook provides information on how to use the grill mats correctly and sets the record straight on some of the common misconceptions surrounding BBQ grill mats. Chef Caron explains, "There is a trend in the marketing of grill mats to claim extra-high heat resistance under the name of industrial or military grade mats. The facts are that all non-stick cookware, grill mats and non-stick pans alike, are restricted to the same temperature limitations under FDA regulations. We like to give our potential customers the actual facts so they aren't disappointed later."

The Caron brothers have plans to release a series of similar products over the next year with a focus on truth in advertising and customer service.
