Mike says "Not only do I enjoy wine nightly, but I have accumulated a number of aerators. When I was offered a review sample of this model I accepted so I could compare to other aerators." He goes on to say "What I do like and why I rated this five stars is the adjustable aerator…..Using the fixed aerator (which I had also rated as a five star product) the wine was good, but needed a little more breathing time after I opened it and poured. This aerator on six opened it up completely, I am guessing that three on this model is about the same as the flow and aeration rate of the fixed one because when I tried the wine at setting four it was better than from the fixed aerator, but not by much."

He finishes his review being most impressed with the adjustable feature of the Vintla, "Bottom line: this like other aerators make a big difference with many red wines, especially those that need breathing (Amarone, Barolo, and the heavier ones that need some aging.) What sets this one apart is the adjustable flow and aerating band - and that is an important feature to me."
