(Entertainment-NewsWire.com, April 10, 2015 ) Monument, CO -- Veteran Flight Attendant, Jane Jones, shows viewers how to pack a bag like flight attendants learn to pack in flight attendant school. She explains how to layout clothes, pack pants and jeans, shirts, underwear and socks, shoes and makeup all in a carry-on bag. Viewers are encouraged to pack with room to spare for souvenirs and clothing purchased while traveling. This method eliminates using travel envelopes and organizers and focuses on packing wrinkle-free with room left over.
This packing demonstration on YouTube points out how to use the grooves of the bottom part of the suitcase for shoes, moving the soles to the outside of the case and putting sandals on the bottom groove in the middle. Shoes are first stuffed with rolled up socks and underwear. A makeup case containing hairbrush and hair combs slides in between the rows of shoes. Jeans and pants are laid out lengthwise overlapping from the waist to the knee to fit the size of the bag. They are alternated with the legs going out away from the overlap. The heaviest items are first, jeans and then pants, then shorts.
Next shirts are laid over the pants with the shoulders of the shirts on top of the torso part of the pants. The lower part of the shirts are placed away from center. Jackets are laid down first, then the long sleeve shirts, then short sleeve. In the middle of the shirts, active wear is folded in a square or small rectangle. All the sleeves are folded in over center making a bundle, then the legs of the pants are folded over the shirts. The packer ends up with a pillow-sized rectangle of clothes that fits neatly into the carry-on bag over the layer of shoes with room on the sides for even more items. Clothes come out of the bag wrinkle-free. The packing demonstration can be viewed on YouTube at the Pac2GoTravel channel.
