"We've been showing the NHL playoff games in our locations, and we're happy to introduce new and existing food items to returning customers looking for some delicious food," remarks Ash Ranjbar who runs Yaletown bar, Hurricane Grill. "So I consulted with our head chef Lino Vargas and we came up with dishes that are perfect during playoff season for all fans."
North Vancouver restaurant, Hurricane Grill, offers delectable treats that may alleviate the misery of their guests. "Among these dishes is the superb Hurricane Seafood Linguini, which is served with garlic toast," said Ranjbar, "it consists of tiger prawns, baby shrimp, and scallops, along with mushrooms and onions in a rosé sauce." Then there is the Pollo Modo Mio. "It's so nice, we cooked it twice," jokes Ranjbar. This boneless half-chicken is first roasted in an oven, and then grilled with Pasilla barbecue sauce. It's served with fresh seasonal vegetables and the customer's choice of potatoes.
For fans of sandwiches, there's the Ultimate Burger, with Pasilla BBQ sauce, cheddar, bacon, and sautéed mushrooms. Others prefer the Veggie Deluxe, which contains Money's veggie burger, roasted red peppers, tzatziki spread, and goat cheese. All sandwiches are served with the customer's choice of Franc Fries, spring mix salad, or soup.
"Of course, many hockey fans love a big helping of dessert, and Hurricane Grill does have a pair of powerful contenders in this category," says Ranjbar, "the Tiramisu Cheesecake has become a popular favorite, with its rich coffee-flavored cheesecake that comes with a layer of espresso white cake and capped with cocoa and tiramisu cream. There's also the Appleton Apple Crumble, which consists of Granny Smith apples, Appleton Jamaican Rum, and cane sugar."
Despite the elimination of a number of teams already, North Vancouver pub Hurricane Grill is committed to showing all games in the NHL playoffs.
