(Entertainment-NewsWire.com, September 21, 2015 ) Reading, Berkshire -- Allie Hodgkinson won the Best Junior Solo Dancer at this year's Chase the Stage Talent Fest competitions in Cardiff and will now go on to represent her region of Berkshire in the National Finals at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool. Britain's Got Talent staff will be scouting for talent and head judge at this years final is Louis Walsh from X Factor. Allie said dancing on the X Factor would be a dream come true so she's hoping they enjoy her beautiful interpretation of Jealous by Labrinth.
Judging Allie's regional performance were Flawless, runners up in the 2009 Britain's Got Talent Competition. The World famous dance group said Allie shows unusual emotion in her dance for a child of her age, but has even more to give.
Allie's mum was thirlled with her win saying, "Allie has shown tremendous commitment over the past few years and Talent Fest is the first competition she has ever entered so I'm thrilled she has a place in the National Finals."
She went on to say "The Finals are a very prestigious event staged at Blackpool's Winter Gardens and will be filmed by Sky to be shown on one of the Sky channels. Chase the Stage Talent Fest gives awards to the best dancers at each regional competition and Allie was speachless when Flawless named her a category winner. Allie who is 12 years old entered the competition as an individual (rather than with her dance school) so she did really well to get through.
After her win Allie sat down with some of the members from Flawless to get advice from the pros. Gilly told her that when he started dancing he didn't have access to a studio so he practiced on concrete. He went on to advise "You must practice every day even if it's just a few moves in your bedroom." Flawless are about to go on a World Tour and are internationally renowned dancers so it was great to have them as judges for Talent Fest.
Allie is a talented young dancer with a fantastic ability to pick up dance moves very quickly. She has just started her second year of high school and yet gives up her whole Saturday every week to attend the School of The Arts (SOTA) at Reading Girls School, as well as two nights of her week to take extra dancing.
Allie's Dad said "We're especially proud of Allie. She's only been formally training in dance for three and a half years and getting up on stage on your own is really brave. She's a very deserving award winner."
