(Entertainment-NewsWire.com, October 27, 2015 ) Clearwater, Florida -- Today Philip Jepsen, CEO of Black Helm Entertainment, announced the completion of the Team Star Angel web site, which will be the official site for the Star Angel pentalogy and community. Star Angel is a five book science fiction and action novel series, a pentalogy, written specifically in the young adult genre but targeted for an all ages audience. Team Star Angel is an unofficial organization of readers of the series, including those who may not have read the series but who support the mission. The stated mission of Team Star Angel is to encourage an environment of prosperity through intention.
"We're happy to have this site up," says Mr. Jepsen. "The author of the series, David G McDaniel, wanted it to be something a little more than just a place to come get info on the books. It is that, of course, and there are some great additional tidbits and extras to be found, but there's also a mission. In essence, Team Star Angel is about making it better."
According to the author, David G McDaniel, the idea for Team Star Angel grew out of elements of the Star Angel story. In the pentalogy series the main character, an average teenage girl from Boise, is faced with seemingly insurmountable challenges and, rather than fold, finds an internal strength and manages not only to survive but to prevail. Not so different than the protagonist of many stories, but Mr. McDaniel felt that certain of the traits she exhibits during those fictional trials could translate to real world challenges others might face, and the same discovery of willpower and strength to overcome. Team Star Angel, therefore, became an extension of the stories. A way to encourage that sort of positive behavior in the real world, with the idea that a winning, supportive environment is possible through intention and action.
"The Star Angel stories are entertainment, pure and simple," says Mr. Jepsen. "Just as the site says. But the idea of being able to promote something more, that readers could not only enjoy the story, but be encouraged to go out and make a positive impact in their own environment ... we feel this is a great idea. We're excited to get behind it."
The Star Angel pentalogy is in the early stages of release. With the completion of the site the second book in the series has also been released. Dates for the next three books are on the site and have been locked down in editing and production.
