(Entertainment-NewsWire.com, November 10, 2015 ) Clearwater, Florida -- Today Black Helm Entertainment, publishers of the "Star Angel" pentalogy, a series of five sci-fi books written for a young adult and all-ages audience, announced a sale on the Kindle versions of the first two books of the series. The books have each been marked down from a list of $2.99 to a limited-time price of $0.99. "Star Angel" is the tale of a teenage girl catapulted from a normal life on Earth to an alien planet in the midst of war. From that violent beginning she goes on to overcome a series of challenges and obstacles, each more difficult than the last, becoming self-empowered and finding her courage along the way. The story is told over a five-book series, called a pentalogy.
"This is a new release and we're looking to get traction," says Philip Jepsen, CEO of Black Helm Entertainment. "To do that we're taking a few different approaches. Making it easy to get copies is one way, and a sale will definitely help with that."
David G McDaniel, the author of the "Star Angel" pentalogy, has come aboard with Black Helm Entertainment to release the books. The first two, "Awakening" and "Return to Anitra" have been released, and Mr. McDaniel reports that the writing for the remaining books is complete. Mr. Jepsen confirms the remaining three are in the editing and production process. Release dates have been set and, according to Mr. Jepsen, will be able to be met.
"I'm excited to be working with Black Helm," says Mr. McDaniel. "They've taken the books and moved them into production amazingly fast. Covers are done and the first two are just now released. I'm looking forward to working with them on the marketing phase. Our next goal is to get readers."
Though only two books have so far been released, excerpts from the first four books are available on the Team Star Angel site. Team Star Angel has been set up as the central point for all links and information for the "Star Angel" books. Team Star Angel is a community for those interested in the pentalogy.
