Joining in the Chariots of Fur 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run on February 6th in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, race participants and their pets were invited to take part in a Sunshine Jack Valentine's Day photo shoot aimed at raising awareness for the animal clinic. Dogs and their humans were offered a variety of props and hats to choose from and the resulting photos were shared over 10,000 times on Facebook the first day alone.
The Chariots of Fur Beach Run and Festival is an annual fundraising event to raise much needed funds to provide medical care to less-fortunate family pets. This popular event is a day of fun at the beach for four-legged and two-legged participants of all ages. Proceeds from the 2016 Chariots of Fur event will go to the St. Francis Animal Hospital Helping Paws Fund to help family pets in need of medical care.
