The Roomi Space owners shared some the most frequent question asked by their followers on the brand website and Facebook page, which was what advice would they, as seasoned travellers, give to others who love to travel. Co-owner Marion Nicole's quick tip? "Organization is key!" she said. For her, organizing currencies meant knowing what was the exchange rate, how much to carry by breaking down an estimate for each day and having small change. She always carries two or more credit cards with her in her Passport Holder, and while visiting the places of interest, she has extra identification like a copy of her passport kept inside.
To stay organised through the trip or holiday, Marion shared that she would pack away anything that was not going to be used again. She brings some plastic bags for dirty clothes as well as travel wash to wash her delicates and tee shirts that can be used again. "If you've bought anything, start packing them away early and decide what needs to be hand-carried on board like anything that is fragile or valuable or edible, and what can be packed into the check-in luggage" added co-owner Granville Edwin.
He shared more tips like one should try to pack as many heavy things as possible into the check-in luggage. For example, bottles of wine or alcohol but one should buy sturdy Styrofoam boxes from the post office. Meats can be frozen and chocolates can be packed into the luggage too. But when it comes to valuables, Marion shared that it is best to hand carry them in the carry-on bag and not pack any of it into the check-in luggage. Thus, when it comes to getting ready to leave for home, being organized helps one stay within the weight limit for both carry-on and check-in luggage.
