The Mimi's and Fifi's Wine Accessories Facebook page will offer fresh content for customers that's updated regularly, the spokesperson said. Plans include information about the company's first product, a wine aerator decanter, including the benefits of using a decanter, why aeration improves the taste of wine and demonstrations of using the product. Also planned is a series of posts of information from around the Web about wine-related topics, including choosing the proper wine for different meals and occasions and recommendations about different varietals.
"We're also planning to have information about new products appear on our Facebook page before anywhere else," the spokesperson said. "That way, people who are active on our page will see new products first. We want to encourage customer loyalty and give people a reason to keep our page in their Facebook news feed."
The company is also exploring ways to offer promotional discounts on products to those who like the Facebook page, as well as running contests for them.
