"We want to make sure that the packaging for our first product is as impressive and luxurious as the product itself," a spokesperson for the company said. "We decided to redesign it so that opening the package for the first time, and every time after that, would feel like an event."
The Mimi's & Fifi's Wine Accessories Wine Aerator Decanter package will now be a two-piece gift box made from sturdy material. The top lifts off to reveal the wine aerator decanter nestled safely inside in a custom-fit section of the lower box. The box is black and red, and shows images of the product in use on the exterior.
"The color scheme is designed to be striking and elegant looking," the spokesperson said. "The exterior printing makes it clear exactly how simple the wine aerator decanter is to use."
The box contains the wine aerator decanter and a base that the product can rest on when not in use. One of the reasons the company decided to use a sturdy gift box for packaging was that it can serve as a home for the product in the users' home, the spokesperson said.
"We wanted to create something that people would be proud to show off on their counter, in a cupboard or on a pantry shelf," the spokesperson said.
