With the original release of Battlefield Earth seeing it spend 32 weeks on bestseller lists and selling over 4 million copies, this new commemorative edition of the science fiction classic is well deserved. Being released at the same time is an unabridged, state-of-the-art, full-cast audiobook. This audiobook is 47 ˝ hours in length, with 198 different characters, over 65 actors, a soundscape of 150,000 sound effects, and over 3 hours of original music.
Pre-promotion for the upcoming Father's Day release of the new Battlefield Earth commemorative book and unabridged audiobook at the Long Beach Comic Expo drew crowds of interested attendees, eager to have their picture taken with an 8 ft tall Terl from the new edition's cover.
In addition to the crowds that stopped by to have their pictures taken with the Battlefield Earth display, attendees, both costumed and not, took advantage of the full range of L. Ron Hubbard's fiction titles displayed in Galaxy Press's booth at the expo.
