The tea strainer, which is made of 304 stainless steel and features a lid, is also made with a silicone heat guard for safety.

According to company data, the Teablee tea strainer features a large basket so leaves can expand fully and is made with an anti-corrosive design, which is lead-and-chemical free. The extra fine mesh on the product is specifically designed to brew fine loose leaf teas, such as Rooibos, Oolong, and Teavana.
The new-handled infuser is made to fit mug openings between 2.2 and 4.2 inches wide. The company adds that the design of the infuser makes it possible to convert the lid on the accessory to a drip tray. A silicone heat-and-scratch guard is an added safety feature on the tea-drinking accessory. The company says the infuser can be placed on the top rack of a dishwasher or washed, manually, with warm water.
A spokesperson added that the silicone heat guard was added as the result of customer feedback. She said the heat guard is specifically made to safeguard the user's fingers from the heat emitted from the lid.
The company invites comments from users about the newly-designed infuser and asks customers to visit their Amazon-featured product online and review the product design. Ms. Martinenko said that she expects the new product design to be well-received by the Amazon community.
