(EMAILWIRE.COM, December 14, 2011 ) New York, NY -- Everyone in the world knows that some days can be trying, and that sometimes there is adversity in the world. But the most awesome and inspiring moments in life are when those who have suffered can take that and turn it into joy and optimism for the rest of the world, and provide a way that others can learn to experience the happiness that life can provide.
posts from her own experience, such as her recent post, Babby Kayla's The Jewish American Christmas.
Tova Gold is the granddaughter of Kayla, and started the website Finding My Muchness when she experienced her own trial of losing her unborn twins at 24 weeks. In reaching out to her grandmother she was able to talk about the situation and ultimately find the same message of joy and hope, despite adversity, that her grandmother had found.
The website has other bloggers as well, and features a 30 day challenge that allows you to find your own muchness - i.e. the joy and optimism that can be yours even in grief and sadness.
Tova's grandmother Kayla is a child holocaust survivor. She has been blogging about her Muchness and how she was able to hold onto it despite the horrors she's witnessed. Kayla is an American Jew who was saved by Raoul Wallenberg during World War 2 and witnessed the systematic murder of thousands of people. The emphasis is on her being able to find her joy and optimism for the future of her life, and to overcome and leave behind the emotional struggles she experienced.
Finding My Muchness was founded by Tova Gold following the loss of her twin girls in utero at 24 weeks to Twin To Twin Transfusion Syndrome. The website is a community site where anyone can sign up and add a "Muchness Pic of the day" or take the 30 Days of Muchness Challenge. Muchness is the Joy and optimism and positivity that fuels the days, imaginations, individuality and confidence! One way to tap into that joy is through sparkles and colorful accessories. They give a person an emotional lift and act as a gateway into their happiness when people are otherwise burdened by grief or sadness. In addition, Finding "My Muchness" makes and sells Muchness Bands. These are silk and sequin accessories that are inscribed with inspirational quotes and have secret pockets to store little papers where people can write their dreams and wishes.
