(EMAILWIRE.COM, May 17, 2012 ) ESTES PARK, Colo.- YMCA of the Rockies’ 860-acre Estes Park Center is known for family fun vacations, packed with outdoor activities, seasonal programs, and extensive facilities. The summer of 2012 brings Homegrown Yoga and Massage to the Estes Park Center. Between guided hikes in Rocky Mountain National Park, games on the tennis court, and putting around the new mini golf course, guests can rejuvenate with a visit to the on-property massage therapist and join regularly-scheduled yoga classes.
Founder of Homegrown Yoga and Massage, Laura Collins, will be offering 30, 60, 90, and 120 minute massage therapy sessions in the serene setting of Oak Cabin. Guests have a choice of the Homegrown Signature Massage which combines Swedish, deep tissue, and shiatsu techniques, Hot Stone Massage , or the Hiker’s Feet Treatment which includes reflexology and warm paraffin wax.
Three types of complimentary yoga sessions will be available to guests from mid-May to mid-October: • Multi-level Yoga is taught at a beginner level with variations in poses for intermediate and advanced participants. • Senior Yoga emphasizes increasing flexibility and strength gradually without fast up and down transitions and deep poses that may be more challenging for aging bodies. • Chair Yoga offers easy poses and stretches that can be used in many situations outside of class.
After a day of family fun and relaxation guests can retire to hotel-style lodge rooms, 2-3 bedroom cabins, or larger family reunion cabins. Media Contact: Amy Shadell, Amy@adventuremedianews.com, www.ymcarockies.org Photos Available. View YMCA of the Rockies media kit
