Health and Fitness Workouts Encourages The Elderly To Exercise To Help Prevent Falls

(Entertainment-NewsWire.com, June 23, 2012 ) Dallas, Texas – Adults, 65 years or older, should participate in physical activity or therapy coupled with vitamin D supplementation to reduce their risk of falling; according to a recent study and panel. Every year a good portion of these individuals may fall at least once and may not tell their love ones or friends about this. This is concerning since some of these falls can lead to fractures, head trauma, and other types of injuries.

It is important that these individuals receive an adequate amount of exercise and not too much or too little. Other measures senior citizens could utilize to avoid falls include wearing hip protectors, improving their vision, and clearing out clutter (if any) in their homes.
