The issue of the magazine included a list of Travel + Leisure’s “Top 40 Adventure Outfitters”.
The list included a directory of tour operators and organizations that specialize in seven different types of vacations, ranging from safaris to bicycling tours. Biosphere Expeditions was recognized as one of only two of Travel + Leisure’s premier organizations in the category of voluntourism:
