(Entertainment-NewsWire.com, September 14, 2012 ) Chicago, IL – Sesame Street Live has announced the final dates and venues for its Elmo Makes Music shows. ACheapSeat.com has announced that tickets for all the shows are now available.
Sesame Street Live, the live touring act of the famous Sesame Street, holds regular series of shows every year. As they near the end of 2012, the touring act is now alternating between Elmo Makes Music and Can’t Stop Singing. Another act, Elmo’s Super Heroes, will also begin later this year.
In Elmo Makes Music, fans of the timeless Sesame Street characters can watch their favorite characters led by Elmo turn into musicians. The act will feature the usual gang including Big Bird, Ernie and Bert, The Count, Cookie Monster, and all their other furry friends. The musical extravaganza is inspired by the arrival of Jenny, the new music teacher on Sesame Street. The music-oriented act is expected to teach children how to appreciate music more.
The act will also feature classic Sesame Street songs such as C is for Cookie, The Alphabet Song, Rockin’ Robin, The Hustle, and You Should Be Dancing. In total, the act will have almost two dozen songs, which kids will surely enjoy.
Elmo Makes Music is scheduled for a large number of appearances. For the first part of September, they will continue their shows at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, GA. By September 18, however, they will move to the Mobile Civic Center Theater in Mobile, AL where they will have two shows on the same day. They will then go ahead to the Germain Arena in Estero, FL and will be there from September 21 to 23.
This will be followed by performances in Macon GA, Jacksonville FL, Tupelo MS, Tampa FL, Orlando FL, West Palm Beach FL, Fort Lauerdale FL, and New Orleans LA all throughout the month of October.
For November, they will perform four shows in Lafayette before visiting Hidalgo and San Antonio in Texas. They will also be in Murray, Montgomery, Hunstville, and Vicksburg, before taking a holiday break.
Come January, they are scheduled to hold shows in Morgantown WV and in Pittsburgh MI before proceeding to the Fox Theatre in Detroit for a total of 41 performances from January 24 to February 18.
