(Entertainment-NewsWire.com, September 21, 2012 ) Los Angeles, CA – The Hollywood Bowl stage has been occupied by several musicians over the years, and even more musicians are set to take their turns on it. On October 20, however, the stage will belong to three musicians for one night.
Brad Paisley, The Band Perry, and Scotty McCreery will together delight their fans with a three-in-one concert. The major country music concert, which has been gathering warm reception from Los Angeles’ music scene for quite some time now, will begin at 7:30 PM.
The major country music event will be headlined by Brad Paisley, who is known for his traditional country music combined with Southern rock. Paisley has been in the country music industry for quite some time. He has recorded seven studio albums and is quite the veteran when it comes to country music awards. In 2008, he was hailed as the CMA and ACM Male Vocalist of the Year winner. He also has 25 singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart under his belt; out of these, 16 had gone on to peak at no. 1. On October 20, he will combine his veteran traditional country music with younger versions of country music as he shares the same stage with The Band Perry.
The Band Perry is currently one of the hottest country music groups in the industry. They have recently been nominated for the upcoming Country Music Awards. The band, which is composed of siblings Kimberly Perry, Reid Perry, and Neil Perry, released their self-titled debut album last October 12, 2010 under Republic Nashville. It peaked at number 2 in US country music charts and number 4 in the overall album charts. Their most popular singles include If I Die Young, You Life, All Your Life, and Postcard from Paris. If I Die Young made it to number 1 on the US country charts and US AC charts. In 2011, they were hailed as the Top New Vocal Duo or Group and Top New Artist by the Academy of Country Music Awards and USA Weekend Breakthrough Video for If I Die Young at the CMT Music Awards. They also won as New Artist of the Year and Single of the Year for If I Die Young at the 2011 Country Music Association Awards.
The concert will also feature American Idol’s Scott ‘Scotty’ McCreery. Scott, who won the American Idol season 10 in 2011, has churned out top 20 country hits such as I Love You This Big and The Trouble with Girls. His debut album Clear As Day, which was released in October 2011, reached platinum sales in the US.
