(Entertainment-NewsWire.com, September 21, 2012 ) Los Angeles, CA – The Los Angeles Philharmonic is slated to begin its regular season at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, which is considered as the orchestra’s winter home. The regular season, which runs from the end of September to June, follows the recently concluded summer season, which was hosted by the Hollywood Bowl.
On September 28, however, the Los Angeles Philharmonic will stage its first winter season performance at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. For their debut performance, the orchestra has chosen to present Dudamel Conducts Rite of Spring, which they will perform for three straight days.
In addition to promoting its September shows, the Los Angeles Philharmonic has also announced their lineup for the month of October. From October 4 to 7, in a total of 4 shows, they will present Dudamel Conducts Beethoven to audiences at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.
This will be followed by Where the Wild Things Are, which will begin on October 11 and will run until the 14th.
On the 16th, they are scheduled to present Green Umbrella to be conducted by John Adams. This will be followed by Vogt Plays Rachmaninoff on October 19 and 20.
After this, the Los Angeles Philharmonic will have a short break and will be back on the 27th and 28th for Renaud Capucon Plays Korngold.
